I know you’re asking yourself why I’m suddenly thinking about losing weight fast. Here’s the story: the other day I found myself in a position to climb once of those steep wheelchair ramps, and it did me in. By the time I reached the top, I was sweating profusely, coughing, my face was red, and I felt terrible. I went into the bathroom to splash some cold water in my face, and gazed up into the mirror, and that was when it hit me: I have to lose weight. Fast.

In some ways, I’m starting to feel like I’ve turned into my father. He was a ferociously fat guy, with a great sense of humor and a strong, good-natured outlook on life. But I tell you, he was huge. And these days I’m becoming large as well. Now don’t misunderstand, I love my pops, but I very much want to avoid reaching 300 pounds. Because once you reach a weight like that, there’s really just no turning back.

So I’ve reading up on how to loss weight fast. My wife is on board with me now, telling me that she also wants to get thinner, which will no doubt make it quite a bit easier to stay with whichever diet plan we decide on. There’s a huge amount of thoughts on how to lose weight out there.
