The sport of airsoft is one that is played on an outdoor basis. There is a bunch of stuff involved, and this equipment is crucial to being safe and successful on the field of play. So I want to just briefly go over some of the most common equipment types that you’ll want when you go to the airsoft field.

Tactical Vest

Besides keeping your chest, stomach and back from injury, the airsoft vest can keep your hands relatively free, while providing all the ammo, side arms and everything else you need for aweomse airsoft competition. Being able to carry flashlights, back up batteries, ammo, etc. can really come in handy.

Making Use of an Face Mask

This is undoubtedly the most important protection piece of gear that is needed for airsoft. The eyes are incredibly sensitive, and if you were to get hit in the eye, you could lose it. With many semi automatic and fully automatic airsoft guns out there, there is a good chance of taking on in the face, even if you are being careful. A full face mask is what you really need, however using safety goggles is an absolute must.

Other Airsoft Equipment

If you haven’t already thought of them, here are some other common airsoft items that you should think about. You may want to accompany your airsoft gun with additional magazines are a favorite  among many airsoft players, because being able to reload quickly is very important. Extra gas canisters and batteries will save you when your gun goes dry. If you are running a night mission, using night vision goggles, red dot lasers and flashlights can really help you out. You need to make sure that you have some good fatigues and boots so that you are comfortable and able to move on rough ground in your competitions. You may even need some climbing gear if you are playing on really hazardous ground.
